We wrote a story back in November about the inaugural year of the Compact for Success program at Cook Middle School in Santa Rosa.
Compact for Success guarantees a spot at Sonoma State University for Cook students who graduate from partner high school Elsie Allen with a 3.0 grade point average in college preparatory curriculum, pass entry level math and English placement tests and declare a college major, as well as other requirements.
The Mustangs celebrated the start of the program recently
by spending the day on the campuses of Sonoma State and Elsie Allen, getting a feel for what their future in education looks like.
Check out the photos taken by Cook staffers
from the day.
